About Inner Quest Centre
The Home of PATH
THE CENTRE'S STORY
Inner Quest Centre was born from a serious question: Do Western therapy models, imported into Asian contexts, really speak to the way our people carry pain, duty, family, and faith?
For years, psychotherapy in Asia borrowed heavily from Western methods. CBT. Behaviourism. Classic psychodynamic approaches. These tools can be helpful, but they often miss the deeper layers of Asian experience: filial responsibility, face, collective identity, unspoken grief, and the way spirituality quietly shapes every decision.
Inner Quest Centre exists as a meeting place between East and West, between psychology and philosophy, between healing and meaning. Founded by Dr. Ivan Zy Lim (PsyD), Inner Quest Centre is the home of PATH — the Psychology of Alignment Toward Harmony. All therapy is conducted through PATH Psychotherapy. All consulting and training are grounded in the PATH Framework
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our Foundations
01
Every person has a story that deserves to be understood, not judged.
02
Healing begins when we can name our experience in a way that fits our culture and our conscience.
03
Psychological safety matters — in families, workplaces, and communities. People thrive when it feels safe enough to tell the truth, to ask for help, and to be imperfect.
04
Good therapy should be both practical and profound. Insight is useful only if it helps you live differently.
